Immediately following the Trump administration’s loss in a federal appeals court, which ruled on Thursday to uphold a temporary hold on President Trump’s travel ban, Clinton issued an ice-cold burn.
3-0

The 3-0 refers to the unanimous ruling, in which all three judges on the panel in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco decided to keep the temporary restraining order against Trump’s travel ban in place.
The ruling represents Trump’s first major legal defeat, which Trump characterized as a threat to national security in his own reaction to the court’s decision.

Upholding the stay on Trump’s executive order means citizens from the seven predominantly Muslim countries affected by the order (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen) may enter the United States.
The controversial executive order, signed with no warning to U.S. agencies affected by its consequences, caused chaos and turmoil for tens of thousands of people who were legally allowed to enter the U.S. As a result, countless protests across the U.S. and abroad erupted in opposition to the order.
The 9th Circuit court decided, in part, that Trump’s comments about a “Muslim ban” were reason to keep the restraining order in place.
The case will now likely head to the U.S. Supreme Court. For now, at least, Clinton and other Trump critics are free to gloat.
