A day after millions of people around the globe marched in protest of Donald Trump, the newly inaugurated president took to Twitter early Sunday morning to present his brief remarks on the Women’s March on Washington.
Watched protests yesterday but was under the impression that we just had an election! Why didn’t these people vote? Celebs hurt cause badly.

If you read the signs of all the people who marched, it was pretty clear why they were there. They’re scared, and they’re pissed at everything the new Trump administration stands for when it comes to gender equality and, well, his basic everyday demeanor.
But the marches weren’t all that made news Saturday.
Trump also savagely attacked the media for accurately portraying the size of Trump’s inauguration crowd. While Press Secretary Sean Spicer said emphatically that the crowd was the largest ever, even though all evidence shows that it absolutely was not, Trump looked to the TV ratings Sunday morning.
Wow, television ratings just out: 31 million people watched the Inauguration, 11 million more than the very good ratings from 4 years ago!

According to Reuters, 30.6 million people did watch Trump get sworn in to office, but when compared to Barack Obama’s first inauguration in 2009, when 38 million people tuned in, Trump’s total fell far short. Obama’s second inauguration in 2013 drew 20.5 million viewers.
