Hey, America. President Donald Trump‘s going out for a quick game of golf. Real quick. He promises!
In a tweet sharing his day-after-Thanksgiving plans, the president said that he’ll be traveling to the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida, to play a round of golf with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson. But, you know, it’ll be over quickly. Just a fast round with the boys! I promise, U.S.! I’ll be home before dinner!
After Turkey call I will be heading over to Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, to play golf (quickly) with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson. Then back to Mar-a-Lago for talks on bringing even more jobs and companies back to the USA!

Of course, Trump qualifying his golfing plans with a weak parenthetical was meant to deter critics who aren’t fans of presidents who golf—himself included.
According to Trump Golf Count, a website tracking how many times Trump has visited golf clubs since his inauguration, Trump has racked up 76 visits costing a total of $81,274,972. However, before becoming president, Trump was perhaps President Barack Obama‘s most vocal critic when it came to golfing (in August, Trump was, on average, so far golfing less than Obama, but his trips were costing more).
While our wonderful president was out playing golf all day, the TSA is falling apart, just like our government! Airports a total disaster!

“@TheBigJamesG: What kind of president doesn’t get playing golf after a cruel beheading isn’t the thing to do? Detached from reality he is”

Can you believe we still have not gotten our Marine out of Mexico. He sits in prison while our PRESIDENT plays golf and makes bad decisions!

Perhaps next time Trump will quell over-golfing concerns by tweeting that he’s limiting his game to the first six holes, or that he’ll be visiting a putt-putt range instead.
