If you need something to hold you over until the breathlessly beautiful next entry in the Legend of Zelda series, a bit of light reading may do the trick–and thanks to Viz Media’s newest release, we have just the thing.
The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition is a compilation of the manga series from Akira Himekawa, who also created all the comics in the Zelda box set. We got our hands on a copy of the new book, and it’s astonishingly lovely.
Himekawa’s art is gorgeous any way you view it, but seeing it in color on the first page of the book gives you a good idea of what you’re in for. While the whole manga is not color, the intro pages are, and it’s a treat for the eyes.
The book is priced at just $16.19 on Amazon for the paperback copy.
At 378 pages, it will take you at least an hour or two to dive into Link’s adventures. Sure, you know the tale from when you played Ocarina of Time. But why not relive it in a whole new way?
