In a new video posted to Reddit on Thursday, a female TikTok influencer is drinking and dancing at a bar with her friend when suddenly, a stranger sneaks up on her from behind and kisses her face.

The video, uploaded to TikTok on Wednesday by Jodie Rose (@jodielesliex), has over 4.3 million views and was later reposted to the r/PublicFreakout subreddit.

The clip begins with Rose facing the camera and drinking with her friend who moves away after finishing her drink. Rose continues drinking as her friend reacts to the alcohol and disappears out of frame.

The mood changes when a stranger suddenly appears next to Rose and wraps his arm around her neck, pulling her in close to him. The two face the phone camera and Rose smiles and puckers her lips to the camera as the plants a kiss on her cheek.

She then looks directly at the phone camera and realizes the person kissing her is a stranger from the bar. In an instant, Rose pulls away and begins screaming. The video ends as she turns back to face the stranger, looking horrified.

“Traumatic x,” Rose captioned the video on TikTok.

Users on the platform were shocked by the video as Rose’s slow reaction time to the stranger, and some questioned whether or not it was a setup.

“Girl took 2-3 business days to notice,” one user wrote.

Others saw the video as an example of how inappropriate some men act in a bar around women they don’t know. “I’d start swinging omg who just grabs someone like that,” one user said.

On Reddit, users were more forward in stating out that Rose was sexually assaulted on camera and that the incident wasn’t as funny at all.

“Saw this on TikTok myself. The comments were fucking weird. Not one was calling this dude out for assaulting that girl,” one user commented.

“So unbelievable tedious and grim that creeps like this still feel comfortable to assault other humans,” another user wrote. “Teach your children, friends and family what consent means and how to respect it.”
