The great thing about the internet is that nothing ever dies. Everything comes back to confuse a new generation of netizens. Such is the case of Lydia Dupra, aka Amanda Drago, whose tribute to her former Sugar Daddy has gone viral again.

Posting to her now-deleted Instagram on the anniversary of his death, Dupra detailed the good and the bad of their relationship in an attempt to find closure and, also, to make his unquiet ghost go away. Struggling to find positive things to say about a man who once attacked her while high on whippets—that’s nitrous oxide or laughing gas—she eventually settled on thanking him for buying her her first racehorse and understanding the value of her time.

Admitting she had a secret boyfriend throughout their relationship, who was posing as her gay bodyguard no less, Dupra asks him to call it even between them and stop haunting her. Apparently, he knew she was terrified of ghosts and some unexplained phenomenon in her house is his ghost attempting to “troll” her.

Obviously, this raised a hell of a lot of questions.

Though some don’t want them answered.

It was a learning experience for some people as they discovered that whippets aren’t just a breed of dog (bless their innocent hearts).

Even sci-fi author Charlie Stross found this whole thing stranger than fiction.

And really if this situation did turn up in a novel, people would slam it for being way too over the top.

Although the original post is gone, the screengrabs have even made it to Facebook, so prepare to field questions about this from your mom sometime soon.
