Creativity is being spawned in many ways as bored individuals across the world are practicing social distancing and self-quarantining to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). One such instance of said creativity is coming up with social distancing-themed pickup lines, apparently.

Currently, there is over 200,000 Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases worldwide with over 10,000 deaths. Workplaces are enacting work-from-home policies. In major cities, schools, restaurants, and bars are closed, and people are being encouraged to keep a six-foot distance from others.
Many on social media are using humor to deal with their increased isolation. The #SocialDistancingPickUpLines hashtag quickly went viral and is full of creative ways to find the perfect person to quarantine with.
Many came up with their own take on “Netflix and chill,” including “Netflix hand-gel” and “FaceTime and chill.”
Some even used COVID-19 symptoms in their material.
“Is this a dry cough or did you just take my breath away?” Twitter user @echo_dammy joked.
Others even highlighted the six-foot distance rule.
“If I could rearrange the alphabet, I’d put U and I six feet away from each other,” Twitter user @RenWalstrom quipped.
Yet, six feet is just not enough for this user.
“I’m just a girl, standing 6 feet away from a boy. Asking him to maybe move back another foot. Thanks,” they wrote.
And where would we be without some toilet paper jokes?
“leans in and whispers: Gurrrrl I got that 2ply baby soft TP… With the puppies *girl grins,” Twitter user @sgtcurrypants wrote. “I fought an old man for it. I take care of my business you know?”
This guy doubled up.
“Prince Charmin does exist, just stay 6 feet away,” they wrote, along with a meme of a guy holding a bouquet of toilet paper rolls.
One user scrapped the toilet paper content altogether.
“Hey girl, I got a Bidet with butt warmer,” they tweeted.
Then some, although funny, topped the corny charts.
“You can’t spell quarantine without U and I,” @Thatgirlraquel_ wrote.
Then there was…
“Are you a pandemic because you’ve got my heart on lockdown,” @carpe_flamma mused.
