Who will save the galaxy from the Metroid scourge? Do you even have to ask? Samus Aran is back in Metroid: Samus Returns to quash the alien threat.
It’s been more than 10 years since Samus went Metroid hunting. If the title sounds familiar, it’s because Samus Returns is an upscale remake of Aran’s Gameboy adventure from 1991. But unlike the clunky gray and white title, Samus Returns will be on the Nintendo 3DS with immersive visuals and atmosphere. For the first time ever, Samus will be taking down hostile aliens and Metroid using melee attacks, stunning enemies before giving them a faceful of plasma.
Metroid: Return of Samus releases September 15 and is available for pre-order on Amazon for $39.99. Prime members get free release-day delivery and a 20% discount at checkout, meaning you get it for $31.99.
