A naked photo and video of one of Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriends leaked on Sunday, and no—it wasn’t Meek Mill or Nas.
Safaree Samuels, a 36-year-old rapper most famous for dating Minaj for 12 years, is the latest celebrity to have nude images leaked onto the internet. While the video does not reveal Samuels’ face, his signature tattoos can be seen clearly. The video and photo surfaced less than 24 hours after the rapper released a new single with Sean Kingston.
As of press time, it’s unclear who leaked the photos, or why. Some speculate that it could be revenge porn—perhaps leaked by his ex-girlfriend Star Divine, who revealed on Snapchat in 2017 that he cheated on her—while others actually believe the video was leaked by Samuels himself to hurl him back into the public eye and create hype around his new music.
Samuels’ management did not immediately respond to the Daily Dot’s request for comment about the images.

The images of Samuels went viral exactly one week after a sex tape of reality TV star Blac Chyna surfaced online. Quite a few folks on Twitter have noted the hypocrisy in the way the public has reacted to Samuels’ photos very positively, whereas last week many people were critics of Chyna’s behavior in the sex tape. It looks like there’s still a double standard for men and women when their naked bodies go viral.
