If you’re as into the Korean beauty craze as we are around here (I literally will not shut up about it), you may not be aware that Japan has also been turning out noteworthy brands for some time now. NatureLab is one of the latest getting attention, and it’s officially my new fave thing to wash my hair with.
Founded in 1997 in Japan, NatureLab is the perfect shampoo for the environmentally conscious. It it not tested on animals and contained no animal derived ingredients. It’s also free of harsh chemicals that damage hair and the environment, including Sulfates, Parabens, Phthalates, Gluten and Mineral Oil.
Not only are these products ethical, but they smell AMAZING. I tried out the Perfect Volume shampoo and conditioner and paired it with the Perfect Shine Oil Mist. Both the shampoo and the conditioner are lightweight and don’t leave any kind of residue on the hair. The smell is gentle and a little of the product goes a long way. The oil mist is especially effective – I found I liked the results sprayed on a brush and combed through rather than sprayed on dry hair (mine is fine, so it weighed it down to do it the latter way).
The line is also affordable if you enjoy luxury hair care but can’t spit up Pureology prices. Prices range from $12 for the line’s blowout lotion (next to try on my list!) to $28 for a shampoo/conditioner duo. In addition to the Volume line, NatureLab also carries a Repair and a Shine line. And on the aesthetic side, these bottles are super cool looking to display in your bathroom.
The NatureLab line is all available on Amazon (with Prime shipping!). If you’re addicted to your skincare routine, give your hair some love too with this lovely line.
