A powerful earthquake hit Mexico City Tuesday and left dozens of people dead.
Officials say at least 119 people are dead from the 7.1 magnitude earthquake. The earthquake left more than 3.8 million customers with an electricity interruption.
This disaster comes less than two weeks after another earthquake killed 90 people in south Mexico and on the 32nd anniversary of the massive 8.1 magnitude that hit Mexico City Sept. 19, 1985—which killed more than 10,000 people and left about 30,000 injured.
This devastating natural disaster was preceded by several others within the past month—Category 4 Hurricane Harvey that slammed Houston, Category 5 Hurricane Irma, and most recently Category 5 Hurricane Maria that is rampaging throughout the Caribbean.
This Mexican tragedy unfolded live on Twitter as videos and photos of the tremendous quake were captured.
