Note to journalists: If you write negatively about designer Marc Jacobs, he will not take it lightly.
Over the weekend, New York Post reporter Maureen Callahan, wrote a piece asking “What’s wrong with Marc Jacobs?” In it, she wrote of lawsuits, store closures, drug use, and an accidental nude selfie as proof that “All is not well in the house of Marc Jacobs.”
Marc Jacobs would disagree! The designer took to Instagram to call out the author, calling her “a sick woman,” continuing:
“I can imagine the powerful and fulfilling feeling you must feel with each piece you ‘write’ that helps yourself and your readers feel better about their lives by putting down others who are so fortunate as to have been blessed with a genuine passion for creation.”
At press time it was unclear if Callahan had received any Neosporin for that burn.
Fans have been cheering him on, but Jacobs’ Instagram is quiet…for now.
Maureen Callahan’s NYPost article on #MarcJacobs is purely fueled by predjudiced hatred. False statements on non-existent fall from grace

Marc Jacobs’ dog has also been quiet on the recent developments.
