Kylie Jenner is under fire for ignoring social distancing measures after she posted TikTok videos on Monday with her best friend Stassie Karanikolaou.

In the videos, posted by both Jenner and Stassie, the two twerked and danced to various trending TikTok songs in Stassie’s house. In one video, Jenner recreated the meme-famous “You’re cute jeans” scene from Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Jenner brought her daughter, Stormi, and posted a video of her carrying the giggling girl as she tried to leave, Capital FM reports. In the video, Stormi screamed that she didn’t want to leave.

At the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, Jenner was vocal on social media about taking public safety measures and often encouraged her followers to “stay home,” Buzzfeed News reports.

On March 20, Jenner said that the “coronavirus is a real thing,” and posted on Instagram that she hoped everyone was taking the coronavirus seriously.

After she posted videos of her dancing with media personality Stassie, people called out Jenner for ignoring her own advice.

While some states have extended stay-at-home orders in order to “flatten the curve,” others, like Texas and Florida, are exploring plans to re-open their economies this week, the New York Times reports.

Still, some called Jenner “dumb” on Twitter and said that social distancing rules must not apply to billionaires.
