Kendall Jenner is defending herself after fans accused her of not taking self-isolation seriously. Jenner posted a photo on her Instagram Story Tuesday in one of her vintage cars, captioned, “just had to start her up.”
Fans immediately called Jenner out for potentially leaving her house instead of self-quarantining.
Jenner responded to fans on Twitter the next day reassuring everyone she is in fact quarantining.
“Of course I’m staying home!! Taking this quarantine v seriously,” Jenner tweeted.
Jenner also told her followers it’s OK to get out of the house once in a while, “as long as you keep a safe distance from others and follow all guidelines.”
The day Jenner posted to her story, she also posted a photo captioned, “I miss my friends. The sooner we quarantine, the sooner we can get back to our peoples again,” so it’s pretty safe to say she is taking self-isolation seriously.
Jenner also retweeted sister Khloé Monday, who said, “I hope everyone is doing the best they can at social distancing.”
The backlash over Jenner’s story comes just a few days after sister Kylie urged followers to stay home on her story.
“Please stay inside, practice social distancing, self-quarantine,” Kylie said. “Nobody’s immune to this, millennials are not immune to this.”
