Kendall Jenner hosted a not-so-secret joint Halloween and birthday bash and allegedly had a “no social media” rule for guests. But some party-goers missed the memo, and now Jenner is getting slammed for hosting a party during the pandemic.
A photo of a postcard reading “no social media” is circulating on social media. The photo was supposedly posted by photographer Emanuele D’Angelo from Jenner’s party.
“Take all of the photos you want, but please do not post on social media of any kind,” the card reads.
Considering sister Kylie posted multiple photos and videos of the party on her Instagram Story, it’s not clear how strictly the social media rule was enforced.

Kylie posted videos of Kendall, Saweetie, Justin Bieber, and more throughout the night. Kim Kardashian West also posted some photos on her story, and Kendall Jenner herself reposted a boomerang from Kylie.
From the photos taken, it didn’t look like guests were wearing masks or social distancing at Kendall’s party.
Just one week after Kim Kardashian West was dragged for celebrating her 40th birthday party on a private island with friends and family, Kendall Jenner is getting slammed for blatantly ignoring COVID-19 precaution measures. “There are people that are dying you don’t need a Halloween party,” one Twitter user wrote, channeling her inner Kourtney Kardashian.
“Eat the rich. I hate it here,” another user tweeted.
Many were disappointed in Jenner for not setting a better example for her young fans. COVID-19 cases are still rising in almost every part of the country. In California, gatherings of more than three households are prohibited, according to the California Department of Public Health.
And while Jenner and her friends did not wear masks during the party, the waitstaff did. Many followers felt bad for the staff who had to work the party. In one viral video, Jenner can be seen blowing out her birthday candles on her cake as a masked waiter holds the cake up for her. “Kendall Jenner blowing out candles as a masked waiter holds her cake and tries to move out of the way was actually the scariest thing I saw on Halloween,” one user tweeted.
Jenner has not yet publicly commented on the backlash.
