Across America, women are staging protests calling for the GOP to stop endorsing Trump and calling out the RNC for “their long history of hateful and violent rhetoric and policy.” Under the banner #GOPHandsOffMe, the protests are being held in front of Trump buildings, Trump campaign offices, and RNC offices, with human chains blocking entrances.

According to the organization’s toolkit, “Donald Trump’s dehumanizing commentary about women is just the latest chapter in a long history of the RNC’s war on women, especially women of color, immigrant women, poor women and queer and trans folks.” Because Trump’s ideas didn’t appear out of nowhere—he’s piggybacking on decades of anti-women Republican policy, they claim.
Protests are happening in Seattle, Denver, Oakland, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Miami, and Hopewell Junction in New York. The coordinated day of action comes the day before the final presidential debates, during which organizers plan on using the same hashtag to call out Donald Trump and the RNC.
