An unlikely model hit the stage at London FashFest on Sept. 15. Cosmopolitan, in partnership with SEAT, debuted its very first car for women at a runway show. I wish I could tell you why all the motor vehicles throughout the years have been inadequate for half the population.
Apparently, U.K. Cosmo fans can. The magazine polled readers across Europe and found out that they viewed cars “as an extension of themselves.” Maybe these ladies really love Transformers and want to become what they drive. It would certainly make more sense than claiming that “the Mii by Cosmopolitan is dynamic, stylish and versatile, with a daring, edgy appeal,” as SEAT global marketing director Susanne Franz did.
“Not only did we strive to create a car featuring timeless elegance,” Franz continues. “But we wanted it to be an even bolder personal ally of the practical, active side of feminine women who are fashion-conscious.”
OK!
The Mii comes in two colors: “I’m on my way to the credit union” violet and “this is definitely gonna scuff” candy white. A price for the car has yet to be revealed because clearly women only care about aesthetics and not practical matters like affordability.
