Whenever my friends come over and play with my dog, they say “I wish I could just, like, rent a dog when I feel like playing with one,” and now, thanks to Bark ‘N’ Borrow, the app that lets you borrow someone else’s dog, they can do exactly that. One of my favorite things to tell people is that “there’s an app for that,” because how great is it that we live in a technological environment that many of our wacky dreams are realities!
Yes, my dog-loving friends, there’s an app for that. Bark ‘N’ Borrow is a new app that allows you to sign up for free and cruise your neighborhood for dogs to hang out with. You can join the site as a borrower, a business, or an owner. After your profile is verified, (robots don’t make great dogsitters) you will be able to contact dog owners directly and set up a playdate between you and their pet. You can use the service as much or as little as you like. Yes, it’s like Tinder, but for dogs, but totally PG. They have even taken lengths to ensure that the people using the site are legitimate, and have safeties in place to ensure the wellbeing of all the furry friends who take part.
God bless smartphones and their many programmers who have given us the ability to make everything from a pizza to a puppy appear at our door with a press of a button. What a world!
