The last way a film company wants to introduce an upcoming feature is through shoddy smartphone video uploaded to the Internet.

But that’s the risk you run when you give a sneak preview at a fan convention.

The World of Warcraft movie footage shown at San Diego Comic-Con was filmed by one of the fans in the crowd and is being circulated on the Internet. The fan video is of even poorer quality than the Suicide Squad trailer that leaked from Comic-Con. That leak prompted Warner Bros. to quickly release the official trailer online.

Legendary Pictures would be well-served to do the same with this Warcraft footage, especially as you hear someone in the audience no less than 34 seconds into the clip say, “I’m already not interested. This is just one, big computer. This is Avatar.”

Warcraft will be released in June 2016.
