On Thursday WeLoveFine revealed an impressive Spider-Verse line featuring a number of Marvel spider heroes including Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Silk, and Spider-Woman. Designer Catherine Elhoffer told the Daily Dot in an email interview that work on this collection started right after they received a positive response to their Spider-Gwen line.

“We heard all the requests for Miles, for Cindy, Jessica, Peter, and more Gwen, and we started drawing and brainstorming and just going for it. We’ve certainly had samples for a while, because it just takes time to set up photo shoots and all, but we’ve been working on this since Spider-Gwen. It was crucial to make sure we had pieces for both men and women, since so many guys were asking for Spider-Verse, too,” she said.

Elhoffer’s designs include stylish dolman shrugs, a high low button up top, hacci top, cardigans, sweaters, leggings, and a moto jacket. The looks stand out even more than Elhoffer’s recently released colorful Adventure Time collection.

“For all of the characters, it really revolves around their spider/icons. That’s the most recognizable part of their costume, so it was bringing those symbols into the fashion and helping fit them into the pieces,” she said. “The dolmans were obvious, of course (and I even made sure the spider on the dolman for Spider-Gwen would match the leggings we did), and they’re a really great way to show off your geek while at work or school! I also wanted some sleek looks, as the Spider-Verse characters are all so posh!”

The Spider-Woman moto jacket is a first for WeLoveFine but a no brainer for this collection according to Elhoffer since it’s essentially Spider-Woman’s costume.

“Of course, it was scary because we’ve never really done anything like this, so we were kind of waiting anxiously for the sample just hoping it would turn out OK! And then we were blown away with how awesome it was! So we just had to keep going; it’s always motivational when we see awesome samples,” Elhoffer said. “I personally love the edgy look to the jacket with the faux leather, and the embroidery of the spider legs is just killer. And Jessica LG, who wears it in the photo shoot, is a huge Jessica Drew fan and cosplayer, so she was so excited to get to wear it in the shoot. It is, I must note, not an actual street-safe moto jacket. I think the price point is a dead giveaway, but I do need to say that.”

The jacket costs $59 with the rest of the items priced between $35 and $55. Sizes on each item almost all range from small to 3XL, with the Silk open-front cardigan available in 4XL as well. It’s nice to see that, as Elhoffer mentioned, most of the items can also be worn by both men and women and are often modeled by both on the website.

Fans of the Spider-Verse are not restricted by gender, and I wanted to make sure we could include everyone! We of course have the Spider-Gwen hoodie available as a unisex hoodie which is awesome, but I also designed the Spider-Gwen pullover sweater with the full intent of giving guys something to wear that was a slightly more masculine version of her costume. And the Miles sweater is really striking, especially in person!” Elhoffer explained. “It’s also important to show ladies wearing the men’s sweaters so our fans can see that while we may have initially made these sweaters for dudes, that doesn’t mean that they can’t wear them, too. It’s a little harder to get guys to wear the dolmans, but I know a few guys bought them when we released Captain America in the Age of Fashion line.”

All of the items are available for preorder right now with estimated shipping dates of either Nov. 17 or Jan. 5. You can see more of the items below and the entire collection on WeLoveFine’s website!
