As much as we all love Lego, there’s no denying they have one painful drawback—and anyone who’s ever stepped on one knows exactly what it is.
Luckily for us, Lego apparently knows that its tiny bricks are excruciating for the unlucky foot that comes into contact with them. So the company is giving the world Lego slippers.
That’s right—Lego slippers.
The slippers are a project of Lego and its French advertising agency Brand Station. They’re cute, fuzzy, emblazoned with the Lego logo, and presumably do what most slippers do—protect your feet from Legos.
Here’s a shot of the slippers in action:
Brand Station also released a video detailing the making of these charming (yet practical) geek fashion statements:
Unfortunately for many Lego aficionados, it may be difficult getting your hands on them. Reportedly only 1,500 of the pairs of slippers have been made.
And given how many Lego there are in the world, these slippers are going to have their work cut out for them protecting mankind from tiny plastic pain traps hidden in carpets.
But we believe, Lego slippers. We believe.
