The album is the latest in a project started by Virginia IT Director, Kipp Teague, who has been tirelessly archiving photos from the Apollo missions since 1999 on the Project Apollo Archive.

According to the Verge, recent advances in display technology on our computers, tablets, and phones have rendered the old Hasselblad photos pixelated and blurry. Teague worked tirelessly to update and enhance the photos as much as possible so we can appreciate them in all their eerie splendor.
