Hey, sometimes the news business ain’t pretty. Today is one of those times.
Saturday night, Justin Bieber was giving a concert in Glendale, Ariz., and had just come down a flight of steps in decidedly low-energy fashion, when he suddenly spun away from the audienced, crouched, and vomited. The consummate professional somehow continued to sing throughout the ordeal. As DListed concluded, “Either some trickery (aka lip-synching) is going on or Bieber trained his b-hole to sing out of his songs when his mouth is unavailable.” There was a distinct note of “Who could tell the difference?” in that comment.
Bieber himself later tweeted that “Milk was a bad choice lol.” Because it is the king of Twitter himself, that simple utterance has had 58,775 retweets and been favorited 27,587 times.
And of course the moment was GIF’d. TMZ has immortalized the moment for scrapbooking by obsessive Tumblr-based Beliebers, to the applause of 1,567 notes.
