Facebook users have stumbled upon a shocking revelation: The phrase “you only live once”—YOLO, in tween-speak—might not have been invented by the rapper Drake but by a cartoon two decades ago.

The evidence is clear (or at least Photoshopped well): Arnold from the ‘90s Nickelodeon cartoon Hey Arnold! once saw a movie with that title.

Drake’s song “The Motto” presents the phrase “You only live once” as a motto—shortened to YOLO.

Never mind that “You Only Live Once” is the title of a real 1937 Fritz Lang film, or the likelihood that the show’s creators were parodying the famous James Bond movie with Sean Connery, You Only Live Twice. Or that the phrase appeared in a number of books in the 19th-century.

Some users were skeptical; others were angry. But the strongest sentiment came from people happy to remember a beloved show.

That’s YOLO.
