The biggest problem facing Twitter, one of the largest social media networks on the planet, but easily the most imperiled, is its lack of user growth. The number of people joining the site long ago stagnated, thwarting efforts at a sale to other major media companies.

Come on, man, Jack. What do you’d think was gonna happen when you put out a call to people who at best have a love-hate relationship with your site, and at worst, need to use it for work but are bombarded all day with racists and misogynists slurs?

That said, some people did respond to the CEO with earnest responses.

But like… gross. Let’s get back to the trolling, because at the end of the day, that’s what Twitter really is for, and the CEO himself just proved it.
