This weekend, President Donald Trump traveled to California to visit the scene of one of America’s worst natural disasters, the wildfires that are simultaneously ravaging two different parts of the state.
At the site of the Camp Fire, in Northern California, Trump visited the town of Paradise, which had just been decimated.
But while talking about it, the president continually got the name of the town wrong, calling it “Pleasure.”

In calling it “Pleasure,” Trump even expressed a fondness for it, adding “what a name.”
After being corrected twice, Trump called it Paradise.
Trump has had a fraught relationship with the California wildfires, which have already claimed over 70 lives, and where nearly 1,000 people are still unaccounted for.
As the fires have spread, he’s repeatedly tweeted about the state’s “mismanagement” and suggested that Californians weren’t raking enough to prevent the fires from growing.
In August, Trump also accused California of diverting water that could be used to fight forest fires into the ocean.
