All eyes were on former FBI Director James Comey as he testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday. However, all page refreshes were on President Donald Trump’s Twitter page, awaiting his input.
While Trump stayed off of Twitter, his son took the Twitter crown and livetweeted the entire event, and joined into the #ComeyHearings trend.
Comey’s much-anticipated testimony did not fail. He revealed information about the smearing of his name, “awkward” relationship with the president, and concerns with the Russian investigation.
Trump Jr. started off with a couple of retweets before diving into his own opinion.

Trump Jr. went on to retort Comey with full force, emoji and all.

Hoping and telling are two very different things, you would think that a guy like Comey would know that. #givemeabreak
