People apparently aren’t being nice to Tomi Lahren. And the far-right commentator who self-owns herself continuously about immigration, about her Obamacare, and about the gun control debate knows exactly who to blame.
That would be Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.)
In an interview with Jeanine Pirro on Fox News on Saturday night, Lahren said Waters’ call for Donald Trump administration officials to be confronted in public has affected Lahren’s personal life as well.
“No, she didn’t apologize, and she’s actually making it very dangerous, especially for young women like myself,” Lahren said. “I find it funny because many of the people who have been attacked, harassed, assaulted have been conservative women. So, where’s the left on this? Where are the feminists that are about female empowerment? Time’s Up, MeToo—where are their voices in this? Because I don’t see them coming out to defend conservative women, as they should, when we are literally being attacked for our beliefs. Where are the feminists?”
Waters has been bashed by conservatives repeatedly since her call for public confrontation in the wake of Sarah Huckabee Sanders getting kicked out of a Virginia restaurant.
Said Waters: “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
Since then, Waters had had to cancel events because of death threats. Lahren, meanwhile, has been called a “racist piece of shit” in public, and in May, somebody threw a glass of water on her.
On Saturday night, Pirro and Lahren also spent time bashing the left side of the political aisle for being OK with Republican officials and politicians being confronted in public for their opposing views. Lahren, though, apparently doesn’t have a problem with insulting people she disagrees with on Twitter.
After all, Lahren did once call Rep. Joe Kennedy “limp dick” and an “impotent little ginger kid” on Twitter.
