Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for adult film actor Stormy Daniels, has been making a lot of waves in recent days.
Avenatti said on Wednesday that a portion of 60 Minutes‘ interview with Daniels where she describes President Donald Trump‘s genitalia was left out of the program because the network “plays it close to the vest.”
On Thursday, he mocked the president’s lawyer, Michael Cohen—who paid Daniels hush money ahead of the 2016 election—and David Schwartz, Cohen’s lawyer, for disappearing from the debate in recent weeks.
“Where have the two legal geniuses of our time, Michael Cohen and David Schwartz, gone? Forced to sit down by Mr. Trump after repeatedly making a disaster of their case on national television and being mocked by every real lawyer in America?” Avenatti tweeted on Thursday morning.

Daniels has argued that an agreement she signed to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump is invalid because the now-president never signed it.
However, that hasn’t stopped Avenatti from making some lurid claims—including Daniels being able to describe the president’s genitalia “in great detail” during a discussion with Megyn Kelly on Wednesday.
When pressed by Kelly as to why 60 Minutes did not air portions of the interview, Avenatti said: “I mean that they play it close to the vest. For instance, she can describe the president’s genitalia in great detail. That did not make it.”
Kelly responded, perhaps like most people would, saying, “We don’t need to hear that” and covered her eyes.
