White House senior adviser Stephen Miller has tested positive for the coronavirus, making him the latest individual in President Donald Trump’s orbit to catch COVID-19.
In a statement on Tuesday, Miller said that he begun quarantining since receiving the diagnosis.
“Over the last 5 days I have been working remotely and self-isolating, testing negative every day through yesterday,” he said. “Today, I tested positive for COVID-19 and am in quarantine.”

News of Miller’s condition quickly made the rounds on Twitter, prompting a wide-range of reactions from both friend and foe.
Many tweets took aim at Miller’s controversial stances regarding topics such as immigration.
“BREAKING: Stephen Miller tests negative for morals, values, ethics and a soul. Tests positive for Covid-19,” @BrianSimsPA said.
Comparisons of Miller to a whole host of non-human entities were also common across social media.
“BREAKING: Stephen Miller has tested positive for the coronavirus,” @TravisAllen02 said. “This is the first known case of human to demon transmission.”
Others users noted that Miller’s wife Katie had only just hours prior mocked Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) for raising safety concerns about the upcoming vice presidential debate.
“Please send prayers to Stephen Miller,” @pixelatedboat added. “You may not agree with his politics, but the man has a family (thousands of parasitic worms that feed off his bile-like substance he excretes from his armpits.”
Miller is just one of a growing number of people connected to Trump, who also has COVID-19, to test positive for the virus.
