White House senior adviser Stephen Miller has tested positive for the coronavirus, making him the latest individual in President Donald Trump’s orbit to catch COVID-19.

In a statement on Tuesday, Miller said that he begun quarantining since receiving the diagnosis.

“Over the last 5 days I have been working remotely and self-isolating, testing negative every day through yesterday,” he said. “Today, I tested positive for COVID-19 and am in quarantine.”

News of Miller’s condition quickly made the rounds on Twitter, prompting a wide-range of reactions from both friend and foe.

Many tweets took aim at Miller’s controversial stances regarding topics such as immigration.

“BREAKING: Stephen Miller tests negative for morals, values, ethics and a soul. Tests positive for Covid-19,” @BrianSimsPA said.

Comparisons of Miller to a whole host of non-human entities were also common across social media.

Others users noted that Miller’s wife Katie had only just hours prior mocked Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) for raising safety concerns about the upcoming vice presidential debate.

Miller is just one of a growing number of people connected to Trump, who also has COVID-19, to test positive for the virus.
