At r/politics, a popular movement forms to force Reddit to blackout over the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA). At r/TheoryOfReddit , redditor blackstar9000 says this a terrible idea and the opposite of how a boycott should work. The movement became so big it inspired a response from Reddit HQ, who didn’t speak specifically about a blackout but did emphasize that the site largely sympathizes with concerns of its users, noting the staff’s goal is to “focus on how the reddit community as a whole can make the most positive impact communicating and advocating against such bills, and how we can help.” (/r/announcements)

Reddit Enhancement Suite launched it’s latest version on Sunday, boasting a long list of changes. You have to sympathize with RES’s creator, honestbleeps. Every time a new version launches, he and RES design solidwhetstone become a two-man tech support triage team, as 800,000 people prod their product for bugs. (/r/Enhancement)

This is a fantastic idea: Redditor handsoffme has created a subreddit (r/watchingcongress) that tracks every bill that goes through the U.S. Congress. Site’s like Open Congress have similar functions, but a subreddit could do a remarkable job of popularizing that function and for spurring far more robust discussions about the proposed legislation. Redditor geltoid thinks he’s found a meteorite. He collects a whole lot of evidence, takes a whole lot of pictures, and turns to one of the best places online to ask: r/askscience. As we learned last week, meteorites are worth some serious cash. Too bad for geltoid, though: It’s probably not space rock. (/r/askscience)

Here is everything you ever wante to know about dating the non-Jack Black half of Tenacious D. (/r/IAmA)
