We’ve all been there: You’re out with friends and find yourself a wee bit more inebriated than you intended to be. We all know we shouldn’t drive drunk, but if you’re strapped for cash it can be tempting to get behind the wheel. Thanks to Lyft, there’s an easy alternative.

In a new partnership with Budweiser, the ride-hailing company is offering free—or discounted—rides to people who have had too much to drink. The offer will be valid throughout the holidays for riders in New York, Colorado, Illinois, and Florida.

If you’re hoping to take advantage of the program, you’ll need to keep an eye on the Twitter and Facebook accounts of both Budweiser and Lyft. Each Friday, the accounts will tweet out coupon codes that can be used in the Lyft app, taking up to $10 off the cost of your ride. If your fare is less than $10, the ride is free of charge.

Once you add the code to the app, it’ll automatically save your free ride, which can be redeemed on weekends between 10pm and 2am, local time. Only the first 5,000 users who register the code in their app will get the deal, so it pays to keep close tabs on Twitter and Facebook.

The ultimate goal of the partnership is to reduce drunk driving fatalities, and if a simple coupon code can take thousands of inebriated individuals off the road each weekend, it seems like a very good idea.
