Wearable lovers with commitment problems, your savior is here and its name is Lumoid. The subscription service that started by renting cameras to consumers has branched out into the wearable market, offering week-long trials of fitness trackers.

The Wearables Box—not to be confused with a wearable box—is a Warby Parker-style system of home try-on for wristbound gadgetry. Potential buyers can pick out five fitness trackers of their choosing from 25 available options and Lumoid ships the selections to your doorstep.

Once they arrive, you have a week to try them out and see which one is best suited for you. If you end up liking one, you can buy it. Lumoid will send you a brand new model and you ship the rental units back free of charge. If none of the wearables seem quite right, all five can be returned and a $20 fee is charged for the process. Just keep in mind if you do that, you basically spent $20 to wear a device someone already sweated all over.

The demand for wearables is rising, but they still aren’t right for everyone. If you’re set on getting a fitness tracker to adorn to your body in attempts to quantify every part of your life, the Wearables Box could be a great way to make the final call in a way that reading reviews online won’t help with.

Lumoid currently offers primarily fitness and sleep trackers, with headliners like Fitbit, Jawbone, and Garmin. It does serve up the Gear Fit from Samsung and the Pebble Smartwatch by way of its “Stay Connected” category, but it does not yet offer Android Wear watches like the Moto 360 or LG G Watch.
