For the third straight day, President Donald Trump has tweeted about MSNBC’s Morning Joe, and on Saturday, he stayed away from blasting co-host Mika Brzezinski about her looks. Instead, he insulted her intelligence.
Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!

Ever since Trump’s initial attack against Brezinski and co-host Joe Scarborough, in which he said Brezinski was bleeding from a face-lift when he saw her at his Mar-a-Lago resort around New Year’s, Republicans have repeatedly asked him to stop tweeting about her and the show.
Trump, though, can’t seem to help himself.
He’s received plenty of pushback since he began tweeting about the duo on Thursday, and on Friday, Brzezinski said this in response: “It is unbelievably alarming that this President is so easily played — he’s so easily played — by a cable news host. What does that say to our allies?”
Earlier on Saturday, Trump also tweeted his thoughts about MSNBC firing Greta Van Susteren, a conservative pundit who had been given her own show less than six months ago.
Word is that @Greta Van Susteren was let go by her out of control bosses at @NBC & @Comcast because she refused to go along w/ ‘Trump hate!’

Almost immediately after Saturday’s tweets, CNN’s Jake Tapper gave some perspective on Trump’s attacks on MSNBC.
More than 10% of tweets fr @realDonaldTrump as president have been attacking journalists. Far fewer discussing troops, opioid crisis, Syria

Though Trump keeps saying Morning Joe is low-rated, that’s actually not true. As Fortune points out, Morning Joe has gone through nine consecutive quarters of growth, and with an average viewership of nearly 1 million people, it’s the second-highest rated show from 6am-9am ET.
