The first weekend of Coachella didn’t pass without incident: A man was arrested after being found with more than 100 smartphones he lifted from festival attendees.
According to KMIR, 36-year-old Reinaldo De Jesus Henao was arrested on Friday evening, after attendees noticed their phones were missing and activated the Find My Phone feature, pinpointing Henao’s location. He was found with a backpack containing more than 100 phones stolen over the course of the day, according to Indio Police Sgt. Dan Marshall.
Some of the phones are still unclaimed, and listed on Coachella’s very helpful lost and found site.
Henao was booked and released on $10,000 bail.
