We all dread few phone calls more than those placed to our cable and Internet service providers. A new service from a virtual assistant company wants to eliminate the stress of these calls by outsourcing them to other, less fortunate, people.
Introducing, Fancy Hands. The company is currently offering a free trial of its new Cable Ninja service, which connects cable subscribers who want to lower their bill with a third-party who is willing to do the negotiating.
After the user provides their subscription information, Fancy Hands’ “ninjas” go to work, contacting Comcast, Time Warner, or whatever provider you use to get you a better deal.
Fancy Hands is a subscription service. Paying $25, $45, or $65 per month gets you five, 15, or 25 virtual assistant tasks per month, respectively. The Cable Ninja trial appears to be aimed at drawing new customers into the service.
Early reviews are scant, but at least one customer reports success.
