The alt-right, a group of online activists with white supremacist views, plan to disrupt Election Day in Philadelphia by handing out alcohol and marijuana. Members also claim to have set up surveillance cameras at polling places to monitor fraud.
Neo-Nazi leader Andrew Anglin has partnered with the alt-right site to help monitor polling places and intimidate voters. TheRightStuff.biz sent an email to Politico with their plans.
“We also have some teams going in to the ghettos in Philly with 40s and weed to give out to the local residents, which we think will lead to more of them staying home,” read the email.
The cameras have supposedly been secretly set up at polling locations all across the city and any white person can set up the cameras. “Pretty much any official-looking white person with a clipboard can gain access” read the email.
If they see people voting in multiple locations, they claim to send footage to the Federal Election Commission.
Therightstuff.biz did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
