Most social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube have firm restrictions on nudity.
By contrast, Twitter is extremely lax, making it a digital haven for the nudist community. Members freely share explicit images in the hopes of changing the discourse around body shame and natural living.
But for social platforms, walking the line between body positivity and devolving into an all-out porn fest can be difficult.
This week on 2 Girls 1 Podcast, Alli and Jen (actors who perform weird internet stuff on stage) speak with Taylor Lorenz, a journalist for the Atlantic, about the difference between sexual and non-sexual nudity, and the double standards many tech companies have when it comes to the human body.
