You’re going to see a lot of incredible Halloween outfits today, but few will come with their own shitty soundtrack. So hat’s off to Soo-Hon Kim, a videographer in Toronto who brought the 20th Century Fox meme to life in one of the year’s best costumes.

Kim told the Daily Dot he spent about five hours putting the costume together before a party on Saturday. He used a couple of small flashlights, some cardboard, and portable Bluetooth speaker behind the logo that connected to his own playlist.

“I like to go all out on Halloween,” he said.

Originally, he was inspired by a crappy flute video of Britney Spears’ “Toxic,” “but I thought that no one would get it,” he said. “There’s a whole subgenre of crappy flute music,” Kim noted, and he pulled out all the hits for the party: Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and the theme songs for Star Wars, Universal Studios, and Jurassic Park

The great thing about this costume is that the worse it sounds, the funnier it actually is. Kim wrote on Reddit:

I practiced a couple times before going out just so I was in the right ball park of notes. This coupled with a dollar store recorder and you’re guaranteed to get squeaks here and there. By the end of the night I was really good at playing the song so I embellished some of my performance to be more shitty. This included half-covering holes as well as sliding between notes.

So all and all, the easiest costume to pull off because the more I failed, the more I succeeded.

Kim said the costume was as big a hit at the party as it has been online. “People immediately knew what it was and asked for Snapchats,” Kim said. His video is already at the top of Reddit, where, of course, people are arguing about whether the recorder technically qualifies as a flute, to which Kim would like to note, “You can argue that the recorder is just a shitty flute.”
