Tom Hanks‘ “David S. Pumpkins” character arrived via breakout Saturday Night Live sketch last week, just in time to own the Halloween season.
And in timely, sharp BuzzFeed fashion, the pop-up character has been edited into classic horror films like Halloween, The Ring, and Scream.
Internet genius that I am, I accidentally deleted my original Tweet. WACOM TABLETS ARE RIGGED.

For anyone who blogged that link here it is! https://t.co/zto0mCXCy9
For the uninitiated, Mr. Pumpkins is accompanied at all times by two breakdancing skeletons and a righteously funky soundtrack. He wears a finely tailored suit adorned with pumpkins, and a streak of gray accents his Bride-of-Frankenstein hair.
It’s funny sure, but it also struck a nerve because America has been deprived of a memorable SNL character since Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, and Andy Samberg departed the show. Too bad Hanks isn’t on the cast.
