On Tuesday the Chicago Cubs return to the World Series for the first time since 1945. It’s an undeniable, feel-good story you’ll want to follow through at least Halloween.

The Cubs are seeking their first Major League Baseball title since 1908, and will need to best a likewise hungry Cleveland Indians franchise that hasn’t won the fall classic since 1948. The best-of-seven series will broadcast on Fox, but cord-cutters have some streaming alternatives.

Fox Sports Go

Fox Sports Go is option No. 1 for anyone who already has a cable or satellite package, as the app and login come baked into your subscription. Just make sure you have all the user ID and password logistics figured out with plenty of lead time.

MLB.tv

Baseball’s streaming companion is among the most trusted services for displaced fans in all of sports. Most pop for season-long deals in April to maximize their investment, but for $9.99 you can stream the entire World Series.

Sling TV

You’ll need the second tier of this streaming bundle service, Sling Blue, to get Fox and the World Series. For $25 a month, and at more than 40 included channels, it’s a smart long-term option.

PlayStation Vue

For gamers with a TV habit, PlayStation Vue’s baseline tier will get the job done. At $29 a month, the Access Plan comes out of the box with 55 channels—including Fox.

Tablo

With a regular ol’ TV you can watch Fox for free without cable or satellite—and Tablo’s DVR means you can record broadcast TV and stream it to your connected device. The hardware itself will run you $219, however.
