She keeps trying to rejoin the app.

The saga of That Vegan Teacher continues: After being banned from TikTok last month for violating multiple community guidelines, she joined the app under a new username (@questioning.our.thoughts). Now, she’s apparently banned again.

That Vegan Teacher (real name Kadie Karen Diekmeyer) announced her return to TikTok on a YouTube livestream on Monday. But her content on YouTube also recently received backlash after she spelled out a racial slur in a clumsy attempt at discussing “banned” words.

In January, Diekmeyer was called out for repurposing “I can’t breathe” to try to make a point about animal cruelty, and her extreme views on veganism often spilled over into extreme views on homosexuality and race. Last year, a petition was circulated, with more than 20,000 signatures, to remove her from TikTok, citing her “ethically repugnant” and “dehumanizing” tactics in promoting veganism.

However, it’s not clear if the petition is what led to the TikTok ban. The same week she was banned, she had made a comment about a 16-year-old YouTuber that many found odd. In a follow-up video posted to YouTube, she blamed “veganphobic carnists.”

She previously had more than 1 million followers on TikTok; her new account had just over 14,000 followers, and the first post was from four days ago. More recently, she attempted to get in on the Bad Girls Club drama trend. As Insider reports, Diekmeyer also used a few other alternative accounts with usernames like That.HolocaustTeacher and thatvegannurse, all of which no longer exist.

We’ve reached out to TikTok for comment.
