Melania Trump is threatening to sue over a YouTube video that speculates son Barron may be autistic. The clip was removed Tuesday evening.
Attorney Charles Harder is representing the family. Harder is also representing the soon-to-be first lady in her lawsuit against the Daily Mail for publishing an article that posed her as an escort.
The video was posted by James Hunter and has received over 3.2 million views since Monday.
“As someone who was diagnosed at age 5 and has gone through bullying myself, I would NEVER do something like that,” Hunter wrote in the video comments. “I made this because I truly believed Barron was on the spectrum, and I wanted people to stop bullying him over his ‘weird’ behavior and explain to them that it might actually be due to a condition.”
Actress Rosie O’Donnell posted the video to her Twitter account with the caption “Barron Trump Autistic? if so – what an amazing opportunity to bring attention to the AUTISM epidemic.”
Although Trump is not threatening to sue O’Donnell yet, she has requested that the video be removed and a public apology be made.
