A McDonald’s customer reportedly caught the moment her delivery driver ate her food after canceling her order.

After placing her McDonald’s order through the delivery app Just Eat, the woman, who lives in London, said she awaited food that never came. When she noticed her order was canceled by the driver, she looked outside to see what she believed to be her driver eating her food.

The brother of the woman shared the clip on Twitter.

Going by the name of CJ, he wrote: “Yo Just Eat my sister ordered McDonalds on your site yesterday from Kentish Town McDonalds. The driver cancelled the order, sat outside her house and ate the food?”

One user commented: “Pretty sure this happened to me too! Told I have to wait 48 hours.”

However, some commenters are speculating that the deliverer in front of the house is not the same deliverer who canceled the order. “Playing devil’s advocate here, if I was going to cancel someone’s order, I wouldn’t then eat it right outside their house. That seems beyond dumb. Surely the thief would eat it somewhere out of sight? Not accusing anyone of lying here, just seems a really illogical thing to do,” one said.

Another stuck up for the deliverer. “Honestly if someone was genuinely that hungry I’d let them have it.. wouldn’t even report them,” they commented.

A spokesperson for Just Eat told LADbible: “At Just Eat we’re committed to providing a positive experience for all of our customers. When we become aware of any practices that fall below the high standards we expect, we will always take steps to address this.”

“As such, we were concerned to hear about this incident. We are investigating, will take action as appropriate and are also in contact with the customer.”
