Apodaca, who goes by doggface208, posted his positive result to Instagram on Tuesday, and according to TMZ, his fiancée, Estela Chavez, also tested positive. The couple recently flew to Los Angeles to work on projects, and started experiencing symptoms shortly after returning home to Idaho.

He posted a follow-up video of him dancing to Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive.”

In September, Apodaca posted a casual video of him skateboarding and drinking Ocean Spray cranberry juice to Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” and he quickly became an internet star. The video is the second most popular TikTok of 2020, with more than 73 million views, and even caused (most of) Fleetwood Mac to join TikTok to recreate the clip.

Apodaca was gifted a new truck by Ocean Spray in October, and thanks to a flood of donations and sponsorship deals, he was able to buy a home in November, after previously living in an RV.

He also posted a video to TikTok yesterday, with the caption “An the show must go on.” His manager, Gina Rodriguez, told the L.A. Times that Apodaca is “at home resting and getting better.”
