Dixie D’Amelio’s TikTok account has disappeared after the influencer was reportedly hacked.
A search for D’Amelio’s account brings up the message “Couldn’t find this account” as of Monday morning. According to Dexerto, someone posted clips to D’Amelio’s TikTok on Sunday night, with her bio updated to read “follow @koiiddd.”
According to YouTuber Def Noodles, several clips were uploaded to D’Amelio’s account, including a few of a teenager pointing a gun at the screen. The hacker or hackers also went live on D’Amelio’s account, and the name “Joe” was referenced. One clip allegedly referenced Chuckling Squad, the group behind the hack of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account last year.
According to TikTok Room, the TikTok account of Dixie’s father, Marc D’Amelio, was also hacked, and similar clips posted. The hackers allegedly claimed they were targeting Charli D’Amelio‘s TikTok account next, though hers remains up.
TikTok Room also posted an Instagram story of D’Amelio allegedly talking with the teen who appeared on her page, asking for her account back.
A TikTok spokesperson tells the Daily Dot: “After the D’Amelios contacted us, we immediately locked their accounts to prevent any misuse, and we’re working with them to better protect their accounts in the future.”
