Jack Black posted a TikTok video of himself performing the “WAP” dance challenge on Sunday—and fans were not prepared for the spectacle.
The School of Rock star donned a red Speedo (and nothing else) to perform the dance choreographed by Brian Esperon, captioning his video “Challenge accepted.” The actor karate-chopped, high kicked, and twerked to Cardi B’s summer hit “WAP.”
Performing the “WAP” challenge often results in virtual applause and TikTok fame, and this case was no exception. The video has garnered over 23 million views, and fans are rolling with laughter in the comments.
Multiple users commented that Black saved 2020 while others jokingly deplored that he posted his dance during “No Nut November.” One user commented “Best wap so far,” and another said, “Jack Black about to break TikTok.”
Referencing Black’s role as Po in the animated family film Kung Fu Panda, a user commented “Kung Fu Panda looks real different here.” On Twitter, a user posted an illustration of Po in a red Speedo and doing a signature move from the “WAP” dance.
Black joined TikTok in March, and it seems that he hasn’t stopped dancing since.
