At least a few Iranian citizens were excited to see President Barack Obama appear live on Iran‘s state TV for the first time ever.
The president was addressing the world about recent progress in negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. Shortly after he concluded his statement, photos of Iranians taking selfies with him on their televisions began appearing on Twitter.
