A group of teens in Idaho got a much bigger scare than they bargained for when a drunk Trump supporter pulled a gun on them during an argument at a haunted house.
The suspect, 37-year-old Joshua Lockner, was charged with five felony counts of aggravated assault and one count of carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence, KTVB reports. The altercation took place at the Haunted World in Caldwell, Idaho, on Friday, Oct. 9. A video of the incident appeared on the r/PublicFreakout subreddit on Sunday, where it has already received more than 13,000 upvotes.
The video takes place in a van or bus, where Lockner can be seen wearing a “Trump 2020 – Fuck Your Feelings” shirt. The clip opens with the teens rattling off several of Trump’s indiscretions for a disbelieving Lockner.
“He has like 30 rape allegations,” one teen says. “He’s racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic.”
“How? Give me one reason how Trump is a rapist, racist,” Lockner says. “He didn’t do shit.”
“He’s taking away our marriage rights, we won’t be able to adopt children, we won’t be able to have Medicare, we won’t be able to have abortions,” one of the teens replies.
Somebody on the other side of the vehicle calls the teens “crazy,” an insult to which they do not take kindly.
“You’re fucking crazy, you fucking cis, white, hetero fucking male,” the same teen yells back. “You have every right in the fucking world.”
The cacophony of shouting escalates as the teens stand up and approach the passengers across the aisle. Then, Lockner stands up and yells “Hey!,” at which point the passengers scream and sit back down.
“Calm the fuck down!” yells Lockner, whose gun is now visible at his waist.
“You’re the one with a gun,” a teen retorts.
Lockner continues displaying his gun and screams at one teen to “put your phone down.” But the teens continue filming and refuse to relent in roasting Lockner, even while he’s brandishing a weapon.
“Are you drunk?” they ask him.
“No, I’m proud,” Lockner responds.
The video ends with what appears to be a Haunted World employee escorting Lockner off the vehicle. Police then took him to the Canyon County Jail and charged him with the aggravated assault and concealed weapons counts. His arraignment hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Despite his brazen Trump 2020 shirt, it appears Lockner was the one whose feelings—and, potentially, permanent record—got fucked in the end.
