“Hello Candice,” Diggs starts his audio message saying. “How are you doing? And good morning! How have you been?”

He chuckles throughout the recording.

“Hey Candice. This is me—Jimmy from LinkedIn, and the reason I was giving you this quick voice message call was to say thank you so kindly,” he continues. “I really appreciate that you have accepted me here on the LinkedIn platform. What we will do is learn from each other. I appreciate your kindness. Jimmy from LinkedIn!”

People online are responding to the elaborate recording on the professional networking platform with memes and jokes. One creative commenter tweeted Diggs’ audio message over a jazz instrumental track, making Diggs sound like a radio personality.

Many joked about how Diggs’ wife would react if she found out about the message.

Others pointed to how he refers to himself as “Jimmy from LinkedIn,” with one saying, “The laugh and the way he says LinkedIn really has me in tears.”

“I have so many questions, but the first and most important one is why does linkedin need voice messaging capabilities?” another questioned.

In a follow-up, Candice urged followers to not harass Diggs.
